In my quest for fitness and a healthy life style running has become of my workout routine. In 2013 I did my first and only Triathlonworking with a training partner six days per week twice per day we worked out . In reflection I was at my best then. My goal was to complete the event , swim 1/3 mile bike 18 miles and run 3 miles in one day. Time was not in issue for I had never done anything like this before. I could swim not very well , we had manage to get a deal on membership to a health club close to the job with a great pool . We swam lunch times three times per week for four months, did weights three sessions and cardio every day . After the iron girl event I had promised myself I would complete a marathon, still on the to do list.
As we approach the end of 2016 I am think of my new goals for the new year, I have just completed yet another 5k need to improve my times but know I can get back to my 13 minute mile need to work on my cardio everyday. The Hot chocolate run is in January this will be my third year of participating its time to step up my game and I want the medal , it's the 15k for me this year. If I can do the mountain trail twice in 90 minutes completing the Hot chocolate run for that medal will be a easy task.
